MC Chase

MSW
(They/Them)

MC is a neurodivergent LGBTQ+ social worker with years of DBT experience who focuses on empowering clients of all identity intersections by increasing self awareness, reinforcing new desired behaviors, and encouraging building a life worth living. They view themselves as a GPS that can assist clients moving closer towards any desired destination

MC enjoys combining their evidence based training, personal values, and client goals to create a non-judgemental, genuine space for all clients no matter life experience or desired outcomes. By creating respectful and supportive relationships with clients, they use collaboration, validation, and problem solving to foster clients’ self confidence to achieve their goals outside of a weekly therapy appointment.

Due to years of clinical experience combined with training in DBT, DBT-PE, and RO-DBT, MC is confident in their ability to assist individuals of a variety of ages and therapy phases. They are particularly passionate about working with adolescents and parents, individuals experiencing active suicidality and self harm, and individuals diagnosed with BPD.

MC additionally enjoys supporting clients in finding relief from depression, anxiety, struggles related to neurodivergence, trauma, struggles related to identity questioning, life transitions, relationship issues for monogamous and kink/poly relationships, maladaptive over control, and low self-esteem.

Outside of clinical interactions, MC enjoys watching cartoons, playing with their dogs, hiking, trying new recipes, and deepening their personal Buddhist practice.
