Mindfulness Drop-In 

Welcome to our virtual mindful haven at Great Lakes Therapy Center, led by compassionate therapists devoted to guiding individuals on a journey of self-discovery, mental clarity, and emotional well-being through deepening their own mindfulness and meditation practice. Mindfulness helps us cultivate awareness of the present moment, which enables us to navigate life challenges with clarity, compassion, and resilience. 

In an increasingly connected yet often hectic world, we invite you to participate in nurturing a mindful moment in the heart of our community. Developing consistency with a mindfulness practice can often present its unique challenges. Our virtual mindfulness space aims to facilitate community and connection to those interested in deepening their practice.

Our space is for those seeking relief from anxiety, coping with stress or aiming for a deeper understanding of oneself. Our online meditation space offers a supportive community where individuals can strive toward nurturing emotional well-being and balance by participating in a weekly community meditation with fellow like-minded individuals. 

Group Policy: 

  • This is not a space for therapeutic support, crisis support, and intervention. 

  • Participants commit to having their cameras and microphones off during the duration of the practice. 

  • Participants are not permitted to communicate with other participants. 

  • Age: 18+

This is a free resource, all are welcome, please feel free to share the link with anyone interested. If you are running late, that is okay - join and practice anyway! 

Individualized support will not be provided, if you need crisis support please contact your provider. This is not therapy and if you are interested in GLTC’s therapeutic services, please submit a contact form through our website.

This will be the link for each week. When the facilitator logs on, the practice will begin. 

When: 

Mondays 8:30 am - 8:50 am 

Format: 

8:30 - 8:35: Instruction for Mindfulness/Meditation Practice 

8:35 - 8:45: Participate in Mindfulness/Meditation Practice 

8:45 - 8:50: Close Practice
